Your responsibilities:
Managing commercial activities in Denmark with customers in Energy & Infrastructure. Support and implement the defined sales strategy to execute on Hempel’s strategic initiatives and leadership positions with the relevant segment.
You will work collaboratively with relevant business development and global key account team members to drive target account pipelines successfully.
Achievement of annual sales targets is the core responsibility of this role with accountability to achieve short-, medium- and long-term financial targets both for sales revenue and price.
You will support the defined channel strategy, ensuring we are balancing and growing sales via both direct and indirect channels and maximizing penetration to the market.

Representing Hempel – Attend trade shows, generate leads, and strengthen our brand in the market.
Managing your own schedule – Plan and balance customer visits with administrative tasks, ensuring efficient and effective sales execution.

As a Field Sales Key Account Manager, you will develop and maintain a portfolio of key accounts while actively identifying new business opportunities. Your role is about more than just sales – you’ll act as a trusted advisor, providing technical expertise and creating long-term value for our customers. You will bring:
Sales-driven mindset – You’re a natural negotiator with a passion for closing deals and building long-term customer relationships. You come with 2-5 years’ experience in a sales position from the coatings industry and have the right experience in protective coatings, surface preparation, paint technology and application techniques. You are used to working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and sales excellence reporting.
Strong communication skills – Able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and present solutions in a persuasive and impactful manner. Comfortable working cross‑functionally and operating within a global environment.
Proactive & self-motivated –Thrives in an autonomous role with a strong sense of initiative and a focus on driving results. Comfortable working independently and remotely, with experience in field‑based or home‑based roles. Able to perform well under pressure and contribute to improved success rates. Travel, overnight stays, and customer engagement form an important part of the position.
Education & language skills –PC proficiency including Microsoft office package and D365, fluent English and Danish Language skills, both verbal and in writing.
You can be located in Denmark as it is a remote position.
