What is the opportunity?
The Field Representative investigates, assesses, and reviews insurance claims efficiently and thoroughly by conducting field interviews with claimants, beneficiaries, medical providers, and other relevant parties to gather critical information and verify coverage. This role supports fair claims decisions through detailed investigation and documentation while detecting and preventing fraud to protect claims process integrity.
What will you do?
Review and analyze claims documents, including medical records, death certificates, employment records
Collaborate with internal teams to support informed decision-making
Identify potential fraud indicators in claim file
Ensure all activities comply with privacy regulations, insurance regulations and company protocols
Maintain the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
Support dispute resolution and attend mediations, examinations, or court proceedings when required
Stay current on industry regulations, investigative practices and emerging fraud trends
Provide professional, empathetic communication to clients during sensitive or complex claim situations
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
10+ years of claims adjudication experience, with a strong track record in evaluating and resolving complex claims
Demonstrated ability to make sound, data-driven decisions under pressure, balancing analytical rigor with timely execution to resolve complex issues
Deep knowledge of Life and Health insurance products, including Disability, Life, and Specialty lines across diverse business segments
Proven investigative skills, including conducting interviews, site inspections, and thorough information-gathering to assess claim validity
Valid driver’s license for occasional travel as needed

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$90,000.00 - $140,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
