What You Will Do:
Lead a team of field‑based project controls personnel involved in construction cost monitoring, progress measurement, and contract compliance.
Provide day‑to‑day leadership and technical guidance to ensure accurate tracking of installed quantities, contractor progress, field changes, and schedule impacts.
Source and onboard qualified individuals as required to maintain a full complement of field control resources throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee the monitoring and administration of construction contracts from a field controls perspective, including earned value, productivity trends, change management, and impacts to cost and schedule forecasts.
Ensure timely and accurate field progress and cost inputs to support integrated forecasting, variance analysis, contingency usage, and issue management.
Interface regularly with Construction, Engineering, and Scheduling teams to align field progress, contractor plans, and schedule status with reported project performance.
Who You Are:
University degree, diploma or related construction or engineering experience.
6 or more years of previous related experience minimum or equivalent combination of education and experience. Note without a degree, 9 years of experience is required.
Working knowledge of construction scheduling concepts, including schedule logic, progress measurement, and integration of field progress with project schedules.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by excellent attention to detail.
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Ecosys, Primavera, Oracle, Markview, Workday, Microsoft Office Suite.
Project management experience and training is an asset.
Working Conditions:
The location for the role will be primarily office‑based, however, will require regular travel between construction sites or spreads depending on project needs - supporting active construction sites with regular presence in site offices.
