Air Products' high-tech units, which are part of production at the UzGTL plant (UzbekistanGTL is a plant for the production of synthetic liquid fuels), are located in Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Operator to join our Operations team in Karshi. This is a great opportunity for professionals who are passionate about operating advanced industrial gas units and ensuring safe, efficient plant performance.

As a Field Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, stable, and continuous operation of industrial gas production units, including ASU, ATR, SMR, and related systems. You will monitor equipment performance, work closely with the Shift Supervisor, and actively support troubleshooting, maintenance, and emergency response procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure safe, uninterrupted operation of plant equipment according to technical and safety standards.
Monitor process parameters, document changes, and report deviations to the Shift Supervisor.
Perform commissioning, routine checks, and support maintenance activities.
Study and follow all technical documentation related to the IGF units.
Maintain accurate shift logs and ensure smooth shift handovers.
Participate in emergency response procedures when required.
Observe safety rules, use PPE correctly, and promote a strong safety culture.
Support continuous improvement by applying local and international best practices.

Requirements

Minimum secondary specialized education with 1+ year of relevant experience, or higher technical education in oil&gas or petrochemical (experience not required).
Knowledge of industrial gases equipment and related technological processes.
Ability to read technical documentation and operate computer systems.
Knowledge of Uzbek and English (Russian is an advantage).
Understanding of safety standards, emergency response plans, and industrial regulations.
Strong attention to detail, discipline, and readiness to work in a shift-based environment.

Salary is paid twice a month in Uzbekistan sums

Work schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week (Monday – Friday)
The workplace is located on the territory of the plant in Karshi, Kashkadarya Region
When relocating to Karshi a housing allowance is provided to an employee to rentan apartment (the allowance amount depends on the number of employee's family members)
Assistance with relocation (managing all required migration documents and relocationof the employee and family members to the place of destination)
Annual leave – 21 calendar days. The company also provides additional leave of 7 calendar days per year
