Field Operations Team Lead

What you will do:

Provide leadership and operational expertise in managing the fleet of vehicles responsible for the final mile delivery and pickup of orthopedic implants and instruments across the New England branch. Oversee a team of Stryker Medical Device Drivers and ensure compliance with DOT regulations, while implementing strategies to optimize routes and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage fleet operations, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement processes to optimize routes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and maintain accurate records for assets, incidents, and compliance.
  • Manage relationships with leasing companies and track vehicle assets (EZ Pass, GPS, insurance, registration).
  • Partner with Dispatch to establish efficient routes, monitor tracking systems, and ensure hospital protocol adherence.
  • Inspect products for compliance with surgical case requirements and coordinate supplemental courier services as needed.
  • Monitor fleet performance metrics, investigate service issues, and resolve operational challenges promptly.
  • Perform full managerial duties including training, coaching, performance management, and recruitment.

What you need:

Required

  • BS/BA in business or related discipline OR 6+ years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Valid Driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekend and evening call/participate in rotational on call as needed
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs

Preferred

  • Demonstrated warehouse/inventory control experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment

$66,100 - $102,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
