Via

Field Operations Manager (German-speaking)

Dingolfing, Germany Full Time

Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single person’s daily commute to reducing humanity’s collective environmental footprint — we’ve got huge goals.

Together with the Dingolfing-Landau district, we have developed the “LanDi” into an established on-demand mobility service in the region. Since May 2025, we have also been operating the Mühldorf call bus, providing the district with a future-oriented transport concept in which trips are managed and bundled based on demand. Be part of the mobility transition in rural areas and strengthen our team!

  • As a direct supervisor, you guide employees from onboarding through personal development and ensure efficient shift planning.
  • You work closely with our central operations teams to continuously improve service quality and actively contribute to process optimization projects.

  • You are an experienced leader who knows how to motivate and develop teams in an operational environment - ideally with experience managing shift-based staff.
  • You enjoy personal interaction and are willing to be on-site at our locations most of the time (at least 3 days per week). This is essential for effectively managing our drivers and fostering a strong team culture.
  • You remain calm under pressure and always find the right approach, whether in conversations with our drivers or external partners.
  • You are characterized by a data-driven way of working and use key metrics as a compass for your decisions.
  • You are accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and bring a strong drive to implement positive change.
  • Your German language skills are at least C1 level, and your English skills are at least B2 level.
  • You hold a valid Class B driver’s license.

  • The opportunity to become part of a global employer with over 750 mobility projects in more than 50 countries.
  • Being part of a company recognized for its commitment to social impact.
  • Trust and autonomy: we know the challenges we want to tackle, but you decide how to approach them -and we’re here to support you along the way.
  • The salary range is between €40,000 and €55,000 per year, based on your experience, knowledge, and skills. We value fair and transparent compensation and have a system for continuous salary development and variable compensation that recognizes your performance.
