Field Operations Assistant

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Operations and Field manager, participates in the operations, conservation, Education, and research activities at the Morgan Arboretum, located in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Qc.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates in leading groups in educational programs (i.e. guided tours)
Patrols and monitors the trails at the Morgan Arboretum.
Performs landscaping, trail maintenance (branch and tree pruning, signage, etc.), and ecological restoration projects which may require use of specialized equipment or vehicles.
Carries out general maintenance tasks and general repairs.
Engages in conservation projects to preserve fauna and flora.
Participates in the management of invasive plants.
Assist in the service to members, visitors, and academic clientele.
Supports in data entry and processing in established inventory databases.

(AMUSE A) $16.75

35 (Full time) for an eight-week contract with the possibility of continuing part-time.
