Field Medical Affairs Manager (Oncology)

About the role:
As a Field Medical Affairs Manager (Oncology) you will be the local scientific expert and trusted medical partner for oncology healthcare professionals and external experts. You will deliver evidence‑based scientific dialogue, support medical education and investigator engagement, and gather real‑world insights that inform medical strategy and evidence generation. You will represent GSK at national and regional scientific meetings, congresses and advisory activities and will help build GSK’s credibility and presence in the oncology community across Vietnam.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely, professional and scientifically accurate engagements in line with GSK’s Scientific Engagement Principles and local regulations; ensure interactions are fair, balanced and evidence-based.

  • Develop and implement HCP/HCO engagement plans to strengthen GSK’s scientific credibility and support appropriate use of oncology medicines.

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, medical societies and clinical teams through one-to-one and group scientific interactions, meetings and congress activities.

  • Represent the medical voice from the field by attending national and regional scientific meetings; capture and share insights to inform medical and commercial strategies.

  • Provide proactive scientific presentations and responsive medical information to HCPs; support identification and engagement of investigators and sites for evidence generation and clinical studies.

  • Facilitate speaker training and GSK-sponsored scientific education to prepare external experts to present balanced and accurate information.

  • Deliver internal medical and scientific training for cross-functional colleagues.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant literature, clinical trials and competitor data; ensure timely internal dissemination of important scientific developments.

  • Report adverse events in accordance with local pharmacovigilance requirements and company procedures.

What we are looking for?

  • Degree in Medicine or Pharmacy.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within Medical Affairs or a related scientific role.

  • Strong understanding of clinical practice and the healthcare environment in Vietnam.

  • Scientific knowledge or demonstrated ability to quickly learn oncology evidence and translate it into clinical discussions.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to work independently in the field, manage competing priorities and travel regularly.

  • Fluent Vietnamese and strong English communication skills.
