We are looking for an innovative, AI-literate and passionate marketing all-star to join the Salesforce marketing team in Australia. The Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Lead who is dynamic, creative, and a self-starter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating, delivering, and executing engaging campaigns and programs to drive outstanding pipeline, consumption and revenue results. You’ll have a clear understanding of the role AI can play in how to drive leads into a business and build a strong inbound lead funnel. And, of course, someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump right in!
This person will be responsible for the brand building, inbound lead funnel, demand generation and opportunity progression across Enterprise and Strategic business segment. The candidate will be experienced in B2B marketing and a wide range of go-to-market tactics. Previous roles working in B2B companies, or previous experience in marketing technology is an advantage.
The opportunity requires a collaborative, dynamic, resilient, positive and organised marketing professional with a proven history of success coordinating and executing integrated marketing campaigns. This position will work with the Enterprise and Strategic leadership team to form an integrated marketing plan aligned to deliver on our key A/NZ business goals. The role requires hands-on execution with the day-to-day coordination and program management of all aspects of the initiatives and campaigns. As the lead of the Enterprise and Strategic pod, this role requires a team member who is able to orchestrate across a virtual team to deliver double-digit pipeline generation and lead growth. The candidate needs excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to liaise effectively with key sales and strategy stakeholders and be accountable for results. Analytical and AI capability is key for understanding and managing demand generation, forecasting, budgeting, lead flow, and the many moving parts involved in running an effective marketing machine.
Proven experience in programmatic demand generation and partnering with AI to deliver integrated campaigns is critical. The role requires managing and delivering face-to-face events, coordinating website content and engaging creative teams, a good working knowledge of digital marketing, and working with external agencies to effectively execute projects on time and on budget. Examples of great customer experience will be highly regarded where impact to the acceleration of pipeline can be demonstrated. Responsibilities:
Work with marketing, sales and partner leadership to support the development of the end-to-end marketing program and campaign planning for A/NZ marketing (program planning, campaign management, tactical execution, promotions, and collaboration with executive, alliance and operational stakeholders).
Assist with the development and delivery of breakthrough ideas, AI augmented insights and innovative campaigns. This requires collaboration with other marketing specialists and partners to deliver experiments and innovation in our A/NZ market strategy for net-new business via all relevant mediums and channels (e.g. webinars, 3rd party vertically based associations, digital, influencers, PR/media, social media, live events, sales programs etc).
Oversee the creation, management and maintenance of all Industry, App and Partner led campaigns to fill pipeline throughout the funnel; events and content in A/NZ.
Publish and monitor frequent campaign scorecards to share results, learnings and best practices with key stakeholders, providing a feedback loop of accountability around marketing impact through weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews; adjusting plans and priorities to stay focused on pipe generation targets.
Coordinate enablement of sales development and sales programs/telemarketing resources working with Go-to-Market Industry, Partner & Product leads.
Using AI to improve processes, targeting and best practices to ensure program success, efficiently delivering local and global programs, measure outcomes and manage budgets to maximise impact.
Have the capability to orchestrate, negotiate, prioritise and manage project deliverables with other members of the marketing organisation as needed.
Effectively collaborate with agencies and partners to help scale delivery and impact of programs across digital, creative and face-to-face events.
This role requires a team member who is able to orchestrate and lead a virtual team — no direct people management responsibilities
Experience/Skills Required:
Experience in bringing AI and innovation to impact sales and marketing goals.
Be a highly professional team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.
3+ years managing RVPs and business stakeholders and leadership teams across key business metrics.
7+ years B2B marketing experience in a campaign lead, partner marketing lead or marketing lead capacity.
7+ years experience managing and developing integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand, pipeline and revenue.
Ability to lead and contribute to projects with confidence and rigour across cross functional teams.
Ability to analyse business metrics and data to derive insights, plan /pivot accordingly and drive quantifiable ROI.
Working with Industry partners to bring solutions plays to life across Financial Services, Energy, Retail, Consumer Goods and Manufacturing.
Build your internal and external network to connect Partners with the best people within Salesforce to match their expertise and capabilities
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
Proven track record of managing B2B marketing campaigns throughout the pipeline funnel across web, social, email, as well as in-person events and other activities, and experience of driving quantifiable ROI.
Hands on experience in executing multi-touch campaigns across a range of organic and paid-channels
Strong background in developing and executing segment-focussed marketing campaigns.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where strong time management and prioritisation are a must.
Past experience in using Salesforce, Slack, and/or other marketing tools such as Salesforce
Ability to collaborate in projects across cross functional teams.
