As an IC Field Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of a dedicated team based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario and reporting to the Sales Director.  The IC FMC is a dedicated service support representative with responsibility for our core Industrial Customers.

What You Will Get To Do

  • Act as local contact for Construction & Industrial CORE distributors 
  • Execute in-store events & new product launches
  • Flawlessly execute category work plans for all assigned brands and product categories (i.e. DeWALT, Craftsman, Stanley)
  • Achieve weekly and quarterly call cycle goals
  • Develop strong relationships with key account personnel
  • Complete all communication requirements with accounts timely and effectively
  • Conduct product knowledge training at distributors’ locations
  • Work with distributors to find new and creative ways to merchandise and increase sales
  • Become the liaison between distributors and internal sales/marketing team
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met in store to maintain strong brand presence
  • Conduct in-store events and demos with employees and end users
  • Work with key in-store personnel to promote and expand brand exposure
  • Become a product knowledge expert

Who You Are

  • College or University degree/diploma in Marketing, Business or relevant area of study
  • Experience with retail events, product demonstration, new product launches
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as in a group to achieve team goals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Clean Drivers Abstract required
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday and flexible to work the occasional Saturday based on business needs

What You Get

  • Anticipated compensation for this role is $50,000 in annual base salary.  Salary is based on market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to receive a discretionary sales incentive bonus which at target is equal to 5% of salary.  All bonuses are subject to plan terms and are based on the achievement of defined objectives.  Bonuses are not guaranteed.
