The following are required for the role
Master of Science degree
5+ years hands on professional experience in Polymers & Composites additives.
Experience in market development or technical sales within the chemical industry
Excellent technical and chemical knowledge
Strong cross-functional player who can work effectively across teams (Marketing, Quality and Supply Chain) and drive results
Strong Sales skills with high customer orientation
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Energetic, self-motivated
High willingness to explore new things and create new business models
Familiar with using common Office applications
Willingness to travel on a frequent basis (up to 50%)
The following are preferred for the role
Familiarity with technical product lines and application support
Preferred degrees in Chemistry, Plastics, Chemical Engineering
Experience in Adhesives, Sealants and Coatings would be a plus
5-10 years of direct sales or techno commercial experience in the Plastic/Polymer additives
Marketing experience and Project Management skills
