Field Education Coordinator 3
This position coordinates all aspects of field education placements for students in the MSW program with special focus to the online program. The Field placement process is complex due to the assessment of the student, agency, supervisor credentials, compliance with CSWE (Council on Social Work Education) requirements and risk management issues to ensure safety and compliance to ensure the integrity of the educational requirements are met in an external environment. The Coordinator 3 is responsible for recognizing potential risk and compliance issues to resolve with the assistance of the Assistant Director or Director as needed.
Job Responsibilities
30%- Coordinates placement of all MSW students in the field education program.
20%- Coordinates, monitors and maintains all required field trainings for online field students.
10%- Coordinates recruiting and approving online field placement sites.
10%- Reviews state regulatory laws in online placements outside of Louisiana.
10%- Coordinates meeting online with field students to answer questions about sequencing of field, requirements and areas of interest.
10%-Addresses any CSWE compliance issues with C4, AD or Director of Field to ensure of all CSWE standards for online field education are met.
5%-Provide required field trainings and orientations.
5%-Other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in social work.
Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and/or Licensed Master Level Social Work credentialing from the Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in social work. 1-3 years of post MSW experience.
