The primary effort of the Clinical Specialist is to provide field guidance and training to customers on LivaNova products and devices for the assigned countries and therapeutic areas. Training sessions may be conducted in person or virtually and must align with all approved instructions for use. This position will design, develop, and deliver customer-focused education and training to ensure optimal use of LivaNova CP products. The role requires ownership of projects from start to finish while collaborating with a management team of professionals, as well as collaborating with sales training and internal stakeholders.
Meets all universal requirement plus:
- Perfusion education with a minimum of BS. MBA or MS preferred
- Current or history of Clinical Certification (CCP) and/or Licensure is required
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required.
- Evidence of strong clinical expertise in perfusion related practices, therapies, equipment and products.
- 7 or more years of clinical practice preferred
- Prior clinical leadership or training position preferred
- Knowledge and clinical use of Perfusion LivaNova related hardware and disposables
Essential Job Functions:
- Executing a Cardiopulmonary Professional Education plan to support the business strategy
- Understanding the clinical educational gaps and needs and how these interplay with strategic priorities
- Providing technical and clinical support to LivaNova customers and colleagues.
- Interacting with regional sales managers, account executives, hospitals, triaging duties and responding to the requests from the field clinical managements.
- Taking individual responsibility as a Clinical Specialist to support customers and sales team.
- Review and managing content creation, such as procedural training videos and other educational content projects as identified.
- Supporting field sales team as a clinical expert.
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and create buy-in across those groups, including key educational bodies and societies.
- Working closely with identified key opinion leaders and surgeons to deliver local Professional Education workshops and events.
- Collaborating with MKT to develop and deliver applicable Prof Ed programs.
- Undertaking field visits as required to deliver upon Professional Education commitments.
- Working within LivaNova Compliance and all industry guidelines to ensure all activities are compliant
