Accountabilities
 

As the Field-based Marketing Manager Hematology, you will be responsible for the localization of the Nordic marketing strategy and co-create and implement the National Plans in Sweden and Norway with the cross-functional teams.

This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics through data-driven customer and patient insights as well as insights on the competitive landscapes and healthcare ecosystems to drive success in the assigned disease area.

These insights are important for you in your role to be able to lead and shape national value adding customer engagement initiatives including transforming care initiatives resulting in high market impact to the benefit of patients.
 

You will have the responsibility for driving commercial performance at national level and ownership of key stakeholders. To be successful in your role you will drive best-in-class digital and omnichannel solutions and initiatives to enhance the end-to-end customer experience resulting in higher Share of Voice (SoV) and Guideline-Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT) driven prescription.
 

What you will do:

Driving our business, brand performance and therapeutic area leadership by creating the National Plans and ensuring their execution by leveraging on different marketing channels.
 

Leading and developing National customer engagement initiatives and transformative care initiatives within the TA.

Enable AstraZeneca to take a lead role in educational initiatives and upscaling HCP patient-centric care.
 

Build strategic partnerships with key accounts and broader TA ecosystem through account working.
 

Use your deep customer and patient insights including data analytics by using marketing automation tools to facilitate data-driven decisions.
 

Demonstrate AZ values, ethics, and compliance within all business practices, in alignment with the AZ Governance Framework, internal standards and policies, and external regulations.

Essential experience and skills:

  • Curiosity, willingness to learn and a growth mindset.

  • Academic degree in Business or Healthcare.

  • LIF-course exam (MGU) or an equivalent education.

  • Commercial or healthcare background.

  • 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Project management skills and IMA exam.

  • Omnichannel skills and drive to execute.

  • Ability to drive performance, impact, and execution excellence based on data-driven insights.

  • Ability to draw innovative approaches to recognize market and stakeholder value, with a focus on long- term strategic fit.

  • Excellent knowledge of local language and solid English language.

  • Presentation skills and ability to tailor messages depending on audience.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Knowledge about the broader healthcare system, including regional and local non-HCP stakeholders.

  • Valid driver’s license.


Desired experience:

  • Master’s Degree or MBA.

  • Experience in Hematology, including a proven track record of successes.

  • Project Management experience and/or certification.

  • Track record of strategic thinking, judgment, and persuasion/negotiation skills.

  • Experience developing and successfully executing compelling account strategies based on solid data insights.

  • Experience in effective and tailored OMNI channel approach.

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to tailor messages depending on audience.


Proven track record of engaging and developing lasting relationships and projects with a broad base of key stakeholders in complex clinical/political environments, e.g., mid and senior level civil servants & healthcare professionals, key accounts, and the medical community.
