PURPOSE:

- Serve as a provider of technical and application support for the installed and prospective customer base of High Content Screening (HCS) Platforms, the EVOS series, and associated reagents in Korea.
- Support the installation and application of HCS Platforms, EVOS series instruments, and associated reagents by delivering on-site customer training, including instrument operation, software applications, and the use of reagents and consumables.
- Provide training to other staff on the application and technology fundamentals of HCS Platforms, EVOS series instruments, and associated reagents. 


POSITION SCOPE:

- This role is equally focused on delivering excellence in customer application and technical support, including post-sales installation, training, and troubleshooting.
- Interacts with customers, field sales representatives, sales managers, product marketing, and technical support teams.
- Works closely with customers and APAC/US application specialists to optimize workflows for existing and new applications on HCS Platforms, EVOS series instruments, and associated reagents.
- Performs the duties described above across Korea and, as needed, within the APAC region.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide on-site user application training and support for customers using HCS Platforms and EVOS series instruments to identify, quantify, and characterize biological samples. 
2. Actively collaborate with the Service team to troubleshoot issues related to instruments, software, and reagents.
3. Deliver technical and application solutions to customers via phone or email as required.
4. Provide consultation and application training to internal colleagues, including marketers, sales specialists, and service engineers, highlighting application features and benefits of genomic solutions.
5. Represent the company at major genomics conferences to promote instruments and application software, and participate in training programs for new products.
6. Organize and lead user meetings and seminars to update customers on instruments, chemistry, and applications, and to facilitate the sharing of user experiences.


REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications / Education:
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Biology or a related discipline, with a minimum of three years of experience in genomic analysis.
- Solid knowledge of molecular biology laboratory techniques.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
- Domestic and international travel is required.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently (50-75% of time).

Skills
- Strong computer skills are essential.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with diverse audiences, including colleagues, customers, and senior management.

Experience
- Hands-on experience with High Content Screening (HCS) Platforms, EVOS series instruments, and associated reagents is required.
