POSITION SUMMARY
The Food & Beverage Office Admin & Recruiting Coordinator supports the Food & Beverage Department by coordinating recruiting efforts, applicant tracking, onboarding support, training documentation, housing allocations, and essential administrative functions. This role works closely with Food & Beverage leaders and HR to ensure hiring processes, staffing readiness, operational calendars, and departmental communications are accurate, timely, and organized.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is detail-oriented with strong communication and administrative skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist Directors and Office Manager with special projects
Maybe required to travel for recruiting purposes
Recruiting & Hiring Support
Support applicant tracking in Workday for all Food & Beverage positions
Screen applicants and collaborate with department managers on hiring needs
Maintain and update the Hire Report
Coordinate hiring workflows with HR including H2B and J1 program support
Communicate regularly with applicants and managers regarding placement, job details, and next steps
Share key housing and work-related information with candidates and new hires
Screen and hire for agreed-upon job classifications as assigned
Coordinate visa submissions with HR, manage arrival and departures and required trainings.
Housing Coordination
Manage housing allocations and stipends for Food & Beverage employees
Track housing assignments and communication updates as needed
Training & Compliance Tracking
Document and track required training completion by department
Assist with roster compliance and departmental training record accuracy
Issue employee and department manuals and track distribution
Department Operations & Admin Support
Maintain and update the Food & Beverage calendar to reflect operating dates and changes
Compare operational schedule details with OpenTable to ensure accuracy
Manage Food & Beverage foot passes
Distribute mail daily and ensure supervisors receive pertinent communications
Update department bulletin boards with current postings and operational information
Issue and track vendor passes and uniform authorization forms
Maintain employee lockers pre and post season and all tasks within.
Distribute and manage helmet vouchers
F&B uniform collection, tagging and distribution
Guest & Operations Support
Assist with gondola host scheduling
Check guests in at the gondola for dining reservations as needed
Provide operational support during peak seasons including hosting, bussing, or cashiering
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Highly organized with the ability to work in a busy and sometimes stressful environment
Professional office etiquette and strong confidentiality practices
Excellent phone and communication skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong proficiency with office software (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Strong typing and administrative skills
Ability to maintain positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and leadership consistent with SSRC Service Excellence standards
Food and beverage experience in restaurants, events or kitchens.
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Resort hourly pay range: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English (Spanish a plus)
Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Alterra Driver’s Standards Policy and insurability requirements
