Faculty Head - Leadership & Agency Management

This role aligns and delivers training initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the Agency Division and MBA, translating key business drivers into impactful leadership, personal development, and branding programs. It focuses on designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing training solutions—leveraging technology, best practices, and needs analysis—to drive leadership effectiveness, productivity, and behavioral change across distribution channels. The role also oversees end‑to‑end planning and execution of training programs, including stakeholder collaboration, trainer development, and ongoing support for agency leaders and recruiters.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Align and implement the aims, objectives, policy and direction of Agency Division and MBA

  • Acquire understanding of key business drivers and is able to conceptualize and translate said drivers into training content based focusing on the areas of personal development, leadership and branding.

  • Able to conduct training needs analysis of the business environment to;

    • Improve, enhance and/or develop training content and

    • Leverage on technology to create tools as way to optimize business productivity and/or learning effectiveness, in order to meet all the needs of the leadership level in an agency environment.

  • Influence behavioral change in that would possibly lead to a positive change in the areas of leadership and personal effectiveness.

  • Coordinate activities related to planning, development, execution of all programs including field-based follow up follow through training to meet targets across the different distribution channels.

  • Implement training strategies,  calendaring and manage organization of sessions/workshops and deliver content of training modules

  • Promote and market various training programs through Learning Management System  and other communication methods , partnering with Manulife Sales and Agency Team , distribution channels and other internal colleagues

  • Research, design and implement Leadership & Agency Management courses for the growth of agency force and aligning to company direction Review and update sessions and materials continuously

  • Assign and manage the roll-out of new modules

  • Manage the enhancement of existing modules

  • Research and compile best practices, case studies , FAQs, Regulatory changes and related subjects for all distribution channels in order to stay relevant 

  • Coordinate training logistics (i.e., session schedules, room reservations, participant enrollment where necessary

  • Conduct and coach Certified Field Trainers, internal trainers, where needed

  • Provide support to existing leaders, new leaders and recruiters in their journey towards building a strong and successful Agency / Emerging ALC .

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of training work experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Power Point)

  • Experience in leading a team

  • Well-versed in the training design and implementation cycle

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualification:

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP), RFP and other relevant certifications
