Job Description Summary

The Facilities Site Services Supervisor is a high-visibility, service-focused leadership role responsible for managing daily operations at a mixed use facility in Plainsboro, NJ. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless site services by engaging directly with the client, internal teams, union and non-union staff, and external vendors. Success in this role requires a hands-on, self-starter, adaptable approach, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to lead by example in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, proactive, solutions-driven, and capable of juggling multiple priorities while maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide comprehensive oversight of site services including general maintenance, facility inspections, janitorial, shipping, receiving, and subcontractor management in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Lead and facilitate daily morning team meetings to communicate priorities, set expectations, and reinforce safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality reviews of site services, delivering constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Manage inventory levels of supplies and spare parts, ensuring availability, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure facility systems are properly serviced, maintained, and repaired through proactive inspections, quality control procedures, and performance evaluations.
  • Deliver on-the-job training and mentorship to staff, promoting adherence to standards and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain up-to-date training, compliance, and provide timely administrative and operational reporting to the Regional Operations Manager.
  • Remain available and responsive during off-hours to support this facility, including participation in emergency events as needed.
  • Demonstrate a data-driven, continuous improvement leadership style that sets clear expectations and holds team members accountable for results.
  • Act as a visible ambassador of C&W Services, promoting the organization’s values and reputation both internally and externally.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance expectations as outlined in annual performance appraisals.
  • Execute all assigned duties in a safe, efficient, and professional manner, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College or Technical Degree and/or equivalent work experience within facilities, Operations or other related fields
  • Proficient CMMS experience
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong software skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Experience in a Union environment helpful

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 65,663.52 - $77,251.20
