The Facility Security Officer (FSO) will serve at the Raytheon El Dorado Hills, CA facility. The FSO is responsible for oversight and implementation of the industrial security program and will provide remote support to other Raytheon site security initiatives and projects, as needed. This position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working independently, using good judgement when providing security support, and communicating effectively to all levels of internal and external customers. The FSO will possess the leadership skills needed to successfully lead the function at the site while collaborating across functions within Raytheon, such as Cybersecurity, Digital Technology, and HR. A Valid driver’s license is required.

What You Will Do

  • Interface with all levels of Raytheon and government personnel to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), applicable government and federal regulations, and Raytheon company policies.
  • Manage all aspects of the Industrial Security program.
  • Conducti security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, and program-specific briefings
  • Develop and administer Security Awareness, Training, and Education (SATE) programs
  • Implement and oversee physical security requirements, including Closed Area and Restricted Area certifications
  • Conduct Information System audits to ensure regulatory compliance and security control effectiveness
  • Interpret and administer DD254s, including subcontractor DD254 preparation and oversight
  • Manage classified document control programs

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Industrial Security experience, including 3+ years as an FSO
  • Experience working with DCSA and other U.S. government security representatives
  • Experience working with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and Industrial Security Letters (ISLs),
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Completion of the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum (or former CDSE equivalent)
  • Strong communication and listening skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to solve routine and complex problems
  • Professionalism, tact, discretion, and diplomacy in interactions with employees and leadership
  • Strong presentation skills

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
