POSITION SUMMARY

Support the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment to ensure safe operations and support the upkeep of the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine maintenance including the assembly, installation and repair of furniture, fixtures lighting and material handling equipment.
  • Conduct preventative equipment maintenance including applying sealants, lubricating machinery, and replacing worn-out components.
  • Manage emergency repairs consisting of diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Support the General upkeep of the facility that may include general cometic repairs, painting, plumbing, and electrical and landscaping and housekeeping.
  • Provide event support that may include setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for events.
  • Perform critical cleaning of filters and equipment as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of position.

  • Must be able to understand, read and write English
  • Have basic mechanical knowledge and abilities.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in the use of power and hand tools.
  • Good organization and communication skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 5-10 years experience working as a facilities or maintenance technician.
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent. Trade school or college credits a plus.
  • Experience working in a production environment.
  • Safety focused.
  • Demonstrated history of working proficiently with limited supervision.

  • While performing duties of the job, the employee is required to move around and be still; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee will occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Approx. 10% travel.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $58,200.00 - $87,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
