Job Description: Facilities Cleaning Technician

Position Overview

The Facility Cleaning Technician maintains cleanliness and safety standards in specialized manufacturing environments, including clean rooms and plant facilities. This role ensures critical equipment and environments remain free of debris and contaminants to support optimal production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Clean Room Maintenance (Factory)

• Execute specialized cleaning procedures in controlled clean room environments

• Clean diffuser lighting, drop poles, chase areas, and DB panels using approved methods

• Perform vacuum cleaning and surface wiping following contamination control protocols

• Maintain cleaning logs and apply completion stickers with dates

• Conduct annual cleaning cycles as scheduled

Factory Shutdown Cleaning

• Perform deep cleaning during warm/cool shutdown periods

• Service Supply Air Grills (SAG) and Return Air Grills (RAG)

• Clean diffuser lighting chase systems using DI water

• Replace identification stickers upon completion

Plant Room Cleaning (Non-Clean Room Areas)

• Clean electrical distribution panels using feather dusters and vacuum cleaners

• Maintain proper ladder safety protocols around electrical equipment

• Document completion with dated stickers

Required Qualifications (SPM or Equivalents)

• Experience in industrial or clean room cleaning preferred

• Ability to work safely with ladders and elevated cleaning equipment

• Understanding of contamination control principles

• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks in various environments

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
