Facilities Technical Lead – Paris

Role Purpose:

As a Facilities Technical Lead you will play crucial role in leading and coordinating maintenance activities and repairing activities across the client's portfolio in France. You will also manage a team of technicians and ensure the smooth operation of engineering facilities and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide leadership teams, ensuring effective collaboration, motivation, and development.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team.

  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with engineering regulations, codes, and standards including a strong understanding of health and safety, risk assessments, method statements, and work permit.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Provide technical advice and assist the team in maintenance/engineering issues as required

  • Ensure an adequate supply of materials and services for the proper operation of the buildings, following sourcing protocols and procedures.

  • Recommend and deliver improvements for preventive maintenance and repair programs on an on-going basis.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing service enhancements, reducing utility usage, increasing productivity, and delivering efficiencies.

  • Coordinates maintenance efforts and address client requests with outside contractors and engineers

  • Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for improving technical service delivery and enhancing the workplace service experience.

Account/site specific requirements

Primarily based at a key client site in Paris, the candidate will be required to travel within France and must also be available for out-of-hours work during emergencies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • Fluency in French and English

  • Strong qualifications in electrical/mechanical disciplines.

  • Previous experience working within a Critical Engineering Facility.

  • Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, regulations, and standards.

  • A thorough understanding of all safety and environmental concerns as they relate to the equipment and the overall plant are

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in using control/monitoring systems.
