As a member of the Pilot Plant Facilities team at our UK Ware Research and Development site, you will support day-to-day facilities operations, working closely with the Pilot Plant teams, multiple stakeholders such as site operations, service partners and contractors. You will apply practical problem-solving, clear communication to ensure safe, compliant and efficient on-site performance. This hands-on role offers visible impact to drive Pilot Plant objectives, improving site performance and creating opportunities for growth as you help unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.

Working pattern: This role follows a day working pattern.
In this role you will
Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day facilities operations to ensure the facility remains safe, compliant, and fully operational, with work planned and prioritised against agreed schedules.
Supervise and coordinate contractors and third-party staff, ensuring work is delivered to agreed quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
Manage facilities maintenance, repairs, and minor projects end‑to‑end, from initial request through planning, execution, and handover.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes, control costs, and enhance the overall workplace experience.
Use site systems to record Pilot Plant activities, inventories, work orders, and to support change control activities for compliant implementation of facility changes.
Drive continuous improvement by proposing and implementing process enhancements, supporting a 5S culture, and applying OE tools and techniques.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Proven experience in a regulated environment (GMP or equivalent)
Awareness of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and BMS at an operational level.
Experience interacting with contractors, suppliers.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Practical problem-solving ability.
