Job Description Summary
The Facilities Master Data Specialist is the custodian of our site’s physical-to-digital infrastructure. This role owns the integrity, evolution, and daily governance of our technical asset data within the SAP environment and CMMS systems.
Beyond asset data, this role is the primary auditor and manager for critical spare parts inventory. Utilizing the Odoo inventory management system, you will oversee stock levels and data accuracy at the Central Utility Plant (CUP), Building 10 (B10), and the Facilities Shop to ensure maintenance teams have the right parts to maintain world-class uptime. Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm).
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Inventory & Spares Management (Odoo)
- Perform regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical audits of critical spare parts inventory at the CUP, B10, and Facilities Shop.
- Maintain part records in Odoo, ensuring serial numbers, manufacturer data, and lead times are updated.
- Manage "Min/Max" reorder points within Odoo to prevent stock-outs of high-criticality maintenance items.
- Reconcile physical stock variances against Odoo system records and investigate root causes for data discrepancies.
- Ensure that all inventory consumed during maintenance tasks is correctly logged to trigger automated replenishment.
Data Reconciliation & Legacy Systems
- Perform "Source vs. Target" audits to verify that assets migrated into SAP match legacy records in Archibus and Blue Mountain RAM.
- Address and resolve data discrepancies in asset naming, serial numbers, and technical attributes for all facility systems.
- Extract and manage historical maintenance from Archibus and RAM to support site audits.
Ongoing SAP Operations & Asset Lifecycle
- Execute end-to-end technical data entry for all new assets, ensuring equipment is assigned to the correct Functional Location and Cost Center.
- Manage the formal decommissioning and retirement of assets in SAP, ensuring historical data is preserved and open work orders are closed.
- Update and maintain technical hierarchies in SAP as plant layouts or system configurations change.
- Update Preventive Maintenance (PM) Task Lists in SAP, collaborating with trades as needed.
- Adjust PM "Call Horizons" and scheduling parameters to ensure a balanced and realistic maintenance workload for the site.
Governance & Compliance
- Request Master Data Change Requests (MDCRs), ensuring compliance with global SAP standards.
- Conduct quarterly "Floor Walks" to verify that physical Asset Tags on compressors and generators match digital attributes in the system.
- Conducts regular facility inspections and evaluates each of the core program(s) provided at the assigned site (BMS/Mechanical, Maintenance, and Project team).
- Proactively identify and "cleanse" incomplete or inaccurate data fields to maintain an updated database

Formal Training/Education
Basic Education Requirement –
- H.S. Diploma
- Some university training or a college degree.
Experience
- Years of Experience - 3 years
- Experience Details - Data entry, transcription, or quality control. Experience with CMMS.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expected
- Ability to work with relevant computer software packages, including spreadsheets and word-processing packages (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word), is essential.
- Knowledge of at least one CMMS (e.g., RAM, Archibus, SAP, etc.).
- Ideally has experience with SAP P1U – master data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under time pressure while maintaining high standards of precision and data quality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and capable of extensive bending, stooping, stretching, pushing, and carrying.
- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to dust, chemicals, and loud noises.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $28.05 - $33.00
