Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. Together, these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.

We are seeking a subject matter expert in Facilities area to drive best in class employee onsite office experience, modernize our space and facilities operations and support new office build out.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Plan construction/facilities projects and activities with accountability for successful completion within scope of project deliverable in partnership with corporate stakeholders to leverage expertise and align with global policies.
  • Manage vendor service providers (e.g., janitorial,  IT, electrical, plumbing, printing, food, transportation, security, etc.) including price and contract negotiations.
  • Manage staff of third-party facilities services providers for day-to-day preventative maintenance, work requests, equipment repairs, quality/training compliance.
  • Ensure facilities remain operational - maintenance of the access, support equipment is done in accordance with preventative maintenance system requirements.
  • Manage reception staff and ensure good guest experience for visitors, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate horizontally with functional leads across Corporate Services, IT, HR, Legal and other business teams to align onsite facilities initiatives with organizational goals, fostering a culture of shared best practices and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead annual fiscal planning; annual budget preparation, forecasting, analysis, reporting within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Champion process improvement initiatives and adoption of best-in-class tools to support facilities operations.
  • Provide training, coaching and knowledge transfer to team members on new and emerging technologies
  • Provide oversight to ensure compliance with office building standards and architectural standards and practices per Edwards Global facilities.

What you’ll need (Required):

  • Extensive experience with building support systems including electrical, HVAC and water systems
  • Experience supporting complex facility environments including assembly space, foodservice facilities, lab environments.
  • Experience managing operational expense budgets and forecasting
  • Proven successful project management skills
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert understanding related aspects of Facilities management processes and/or systems
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • Ability to represent leadership on projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and facilities management team
  • Ability to consult in project setting within specific facilities management area
  • Ability to provide facilities management leadership to outsourcing partners on a task level, and may participate on small scale RFP
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
