Position Overview:
As a Facilities Maintenance Planner and Scheduler, you will serve as a critical driver of operational excellence within Facilities Maintenance and Operations.
This strategic role ensures optimal coordination of materials, schedules, forecasts, and resources to meet preventive maintenance standards and maintain superior work quality. Your expertise will directly enhance Intel facility operations by delivering industry leading maintenance programs while maximizing resource efficiency and cost optimization. Core Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Coordinate comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules, oversee work order management, and maintain optimal equipment uptime to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
- Cost Management: Implement strategic planning and scheduling protocols alongside efficient MRO parts procurement to minimize maintenance expenses by reducing emergency repairs, overtime costs, and equipment downtime.
- Resource Optimization: Enhance technician productivity through effective coordination of parts availability, resolution of scheduling conflicts, and strategic prioritization of critical maintenance activities to maximize operational efficiency.
- Compliance, Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive facilities quality documentation, technical drawings, and training materials within the Infinity system, while managing license and permit tracking to ensure regulatory compliance and timely renewals.
- Performance Analytics: Execute comprehensive facilities maintenance quality and optimization analyses including MTBF, MTTR, and other key metrics. Deliver data driven insights and recommendations to facilities operations teams to address operational challenges, enhance work quality, and drive continuous improvement.
- Supply Chain Strategy: Assess supply chain capacity requirements and capabilities to support business objectives and growth initiatives. Collaborate with subcontractors to effectively manage contracts, optimize pricing structures, monitor performance metrics, and lead strategic negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related specialized field.
- Experience in Facilities Operation, maintenance or a related domain.
- Proficiency in data visualization and data analysis tools to derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with lean management principles and practices.
