Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in all areas of the facility.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Dispose of trash and waste materials properly, including recycling where applicable.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and report maintenance needs, such as lighting or plumbing issues.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and stored properly.
Assist in setting up and cleaning up for events, meetings, or special activities within the facility.
Handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or unclogging drains.
Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies, such as spills or accidents, to ensure immediate safety.
Follow all health and safety regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Report any security concerns or unusual occurrences to the Facilities Manager or appropriate personnel.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is an advantage but not required.
Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
Understanding of safety and sanitation standards in a workplace environment.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
Basic knowledge of minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging drains.
