Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Support Services, the Facilities Engineering Manager:
Normal schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, but is subject to changes in shift, hours, days, and/or location as operations dictate.
In accordance with the Disaster Preparedness and University State of Emergency Policy 6.17, this position has been designated as a standby position.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent; 5 years of relevant experience, valid Driver's License; contract management background, knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and systems, building standards, building systems maintenance, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, lubrication techniques and materials, measurement equipment and related recording systems, understand and interpret technical instructions, plan reading.
DESIRED Qualifications: 8-12 years of relevant experience; Considerable experience in building systems operations, work group management; building system controls; preventive maintenance program development and oversight; Professional Engineer (PE) certification or Certified Energy Manger (CEM) certification.
The target hiring range for this job profile is $88,300 - $115,350 annually. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
