Facilities & Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of the bank's premises, including data center management, ensuring seamless functionality and operational excellence. Monitor critical equipment through detailed regular inspections while maintaining close partnerships with specialized equipment vendors to ensure optimal performance and rapid issue resolution.
Lead and develop the Facility Coordinator and Engineering Team, fostering high performance and delivering exceptional outcomes that exceed client expectations. Maintain comprehensive preventive maintenance programs through systematic 52-week calendar scheduling, ensuring all equipment supporting the bank and premises operate at peak efficiency.
Coordinate closely with Building Management to stay informed of critical landlord activities that may impact bank operations, proactively addressing potential disruptions before they affect business continuity.
Technical Leadership & Strategy
Define and execute technical strategies that align team activities with overarching business objectives. Recruit, mentor, and evaluate engineering talent through regular one-on-one sessions, supporting career development and driving team performance excellence.
Champion engineering best practices throughout the organization, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency. Oversee technical environments—including cloud platforms and physical infrastructure, guaranteeing system availability, security, and optimal performance.
Project & Budget Management
Manage comprehensive project roadmaps, budgets, and timelines, delivering high-quality results on schedule. Collaborate with product managers, design teams, and IT departments to align technical strategy with enhanced user experience and business growth initiatives.
Partner with the Project Management Team on renovation and construction projects within bank premises, ensuring proper handover with complete documentation and quality assurance.
Sustainability & Compliance
Apply extensive ESG knowledge to calculate and monitor the bank's energy consumption and sustainability metrics, supporting environmental responsibility goals.
Maintain monthly statutory compliance requirements, ensuring premises meet all regulations while consistently achieving key performance indicators.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Build and nurture effective relationships with clients and stakeholders across all organizational levels, establishing trust and open communication channels. Support critical business functions including financial management of OPEX and CAPEX budgets, collaborating with procurement teams to execute projects within the bank's premises.
Ensure vendor accountability through rigorous management, confirming services are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Culture & Communication
Foster a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and high performance where team members thrive and innovate. Maintain excellent communication and relationships with clients, proactively identifying and mitigating risks that could impact bank operations.
Provide 24/7 emergency availability to respond to critical situations whenever the bank requires immediate support.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline) is required. A master’s degree in engineering management (MEM) or related field is highly preferred and demonstrates advanced leadership capability.
Professional Experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with proven technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. Experience within banking or financial institutions will be considered a significant added value, given the unique regulatory and operational requirements of the sector.
At least 1–3 years in a leadership or senior technical role (such as Tech Lead, Team Lead, or similar position), demonstrating the ability to guide teams, make strategic decisions, and drive results.
Technical Competencies
Deep knowledge of relevant technology stacks and engineering systems is essential to maintain technical credibility, ask insightful questions, guide team decisions, and ensure quality standards are consistently met.
