Facilities Driver 

  • Teddington/London (Travel Across Company Portfolio) 
  • Salary: £30,000 per annum 
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (5 days a week) 
  • Shift Pattern: 1pm – 9pm or 2pm – 10pm (Flexibility Required)

About the Role 

As a Facilities Driver, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our nurseries by ensuring essential items are delivered safely, efficiently and on time across multiple sites. 

 

You will: 

  • Deliver and collect items, including equipment, consumables, linen and nursery supplies across the company 
  • Plan and follow efficient daily routes to ensure timely deliveries 
  • Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring goods are secure in transit 
  • Complete delivery records and maintain accurate logs and documentation 
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained 
  • Support the preparation, packing and organisation of stock within the facilities hub 
  • Assist with stock control and storage organisation 
  • Provide hands-on support with general facilities tasks when required 
  • Work closely with nursery sites and the wider operations team to ensure smooth service delivery 

 

What we’re looking for 

You are reliable, organised and take pride in supporting others through high-quality operational work. You enjoy being active, working independently and keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes. 

You will have: 

  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence preferred) 
  • Previous driving or delivery experience 
  • Good knowledge of London and the surrounding areas 
  • Ability to safely lift and move items as part of manual handling duties 
  • Basic IT skills for logging deliveries and communication 
  • Experience in logistics, facilities, warehouse or multi-site operations (Desirable) 
  • Experience driving vans or commercial vehicles (Desirable) 

 

We are looking for a reliable and punctual professional who is physically capable and comfortable with manual handling while maintaining a strong attention to detail. You are friendly and approachable when visiting all of our settings, but still able to work independently and manage your own workload. You can be flexible to support the business needs when required.
