Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Facilities Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day office operations and procedures at a home office.
What You'll Be Doing:
Monitors office/business locations and routinely provides updates to the Facility Manager/Director.
Coordinates seat assignments (via Archibus) for onboarding, offboarding, reassignments, etc.
Compiles and submits reports including IndustrySafe Monthly Office Safety Inspection, Occupancy Counts, utility data collection, and other corporate reporting, as requested.
Maintains office meeting rooms and equipment, scheduling services as needed.
Oversees supplier and service provider activities; collaborates with other corporate support functions (IT, I&P, Security, etc.), as needed.
Serves as liaison with building management teams for all related needs (maintenance request, supplier coordination, etc.).
Accountable for the availability and proper maintenance of safety equipment such as AED (Automated External Defibrillator), fire extinguishers, and other first aid supplies.
Coordinates health and safety training for personnel as it relates to First Aid/CPR/AED.
Serves as a member on the Office Safety Committee.
Provides security/emergency coordination support in relation to the Office Business Continuity Plan, as needed.
Attends facilities team meetings, participates in office projects, and may support regional projects in a limited capacity.
Coordinates office project-related activities.
Coordinates offsite document storage, as needed.
Manages incoming/outgoing mail, orders supplies, handles distribution, and coordinates office/building maintenance.
May support shipping and receiving tasks related to deliveries for business unit employees/projects.
Arranges for building after-hours HVAC, as requested by business unit employees/projects.
May be requested to be on-call for after-hours emergencies related to assigned office.
May process local office facility check requests.
May be responsible for greeting visitors and maintaining visitor sign-in logs.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Strong written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills required
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of internet search engines, electronic mail systems, and spreadsheets
Ability to prioritize and work effectively on individual as well as team tasks
Ability to work with various staff levels
Ability to work under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines
Ability to apply knowledge and skills to details of work
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of company policies and procedures (preferred)
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and
College level education preferred
5+ years of related experience
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) preferred
