Job Summary

Supports Facilities Supervisor and Facilities Services team in a variety of customer service and building related matters. This is an entry level position with responsibilities that include stocking of copy rooms and break areas, completing simple work requests and mail room assistance. Candidates should have good customer service skills and a working knowledge of MS Office to include Outlook and basic computer skills.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to simple Facilities Requests such as: office/cabinet keys, office supplies, copier/toner replacement, etc. (50% time)
  • Stocking of mail rooms, break rooms, copy areas, and restrooms. (30% time)
  • Basic mail duties including package receiving and delivery with supervision. (20% time)

  • No travel is required (0%).

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma

Knowledge and Skills

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook

Technical Skills

  • Handyman or general maintenance skills and experience with hand tools

Job Experience

  • Mailroom experience preferred but not required.

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Level of decision making authority:
Minimal decisions will be made with the assistance of a supervisor

Level of autonomy:
Moderate supervision. This position should be capable of following a predetermined schedule of tasks with minimum supervision.
