The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Fabrication Specialist to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops and implements manufacturing processes
Provides concurrent engineering support
Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope
Reviews and approves technical documents
Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast
Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation
Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects
Serves as primary interface with internal customers
Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization
Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
1+ years of experience in drilling structures composite/metal
1+ years’ experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings or blueprints
Ability to use and operate low impact vibratory tools for an extended period of time
Must be willing to work 2nd shift
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
787 Program experience
3+ years’ experience drilling aerospace structures composite/metal
