Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently looking for Senior Manager to join the F-15 Korea Upgrades team in Hazelwood, MO.

The Senior Manager leads the BGS team as it executes multiple long-term F-15 Korea Upgrade Programs. You’ll work closely with other business units to develop a suite of deliverables from initial development through delivery of production kits and retrofit. Responsible for oversight and successful execution of multiple supporting functions to include supply chain, technical publications, support equipment, obsolescence, training and Global Tech Ops.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position includes direct work with Boeing Defense (BDS) as well as the United States Air Force (USAF) and Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develop and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in Program Management Best Practices (Requirements Management, Resource Management, Integrated Planning and Scheduling, Financial Oversight (EVM), Program Performance Management, Supplier Integration, RIO (Risk, Issue, Opportunity) Management, Program Communication, Senior Leadership Reviews, etc.)
  • 5+ years of combined experience in Project / Program Management
  • 3+ years of applied experience in a leadership role, directly leading a project, product, program and/or team
  • 2+ years of applied experience working with and/or within a phase gate process for product development
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience supporting execution of Aircraft Modification and Upgrades contracts
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
  • Experience with execution of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) support contracts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent military experience
  • Defense/Aerospace industry knowledge and experience
  • Experience with military platforms and military customer (US and/or Foreign)
  • Knowledge of military Performance Based Logistic (PBL) contract execution and requirements
