Under the general guidance of the Director of Food and Beverage, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests courteously and efficiently according to hotel restaurant, lounge, and banquet standards.Job Description
Duties & Functions:
· Prepare beverages for guests in a timely manner and up to standards of the Director of Food and Beverage
· Ensure consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality
· Exercise good judgments in determining potentially intoxicated guests
· Maintain good coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly
· Interact with guests and patrons
· Ensure all working areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times
· Understand the operational set up and principle of the restaurant or lounge
· Maintain knowledge of all menus within the hotel
· Maintain stock and supplies of the banquet bar
Specific Job Knowledge & Skills:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· Mixologist certification required
· TIPS certification preferred
· One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
· Enter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
· Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
· Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
· Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
· Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
Physical Abilities:
· Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
· Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
· Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
· Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Pay Range
Pay Range: $30.83 to 35.51 per hour. Pay rate outlined follows contract requirement.
