We are seeking an expert and commercially driven Express Services Sales Manager to lead our APEX (Express Services) sales organization across the United States and Canada.

In this role, you will be accountable for delivering profitable growth, customer retention, and safe commercial execution across a service‑intensive portfolio that supports critical customer operations. You will lead a team of Account Managers, drive focused sales execution, and partner cross‑functionally to ensure reliable, safe, and customer‑focused service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, or other significant commercial roles.
  • Experience in industrial gases, refining, petrochemical, pipeline, or related industrial markets strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including mentor and performance management.
  • Strong commercial skill with consistent record to negotiate sophisticated agreements.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive profitable revenue growth and margin performance across the Express Services (APEX) portfolio.
  • Provide direct people leadership to a team of Account Managers, including mentor, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Own and lead commercial contract negotiations within established authority levels, including pricing structures, commercial terms, renewals, and amendments.
  • Ensure well-adapted account planning, opportunity management, and execution rigor across the sales organization.
  • Build and maintain strong, senior‑level customer relationships while proactively handling service performance and issues.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to enable safe, reliable, and adaptable service execution.
  • Reinforce Air Products’ safety culture, commercial governance standards, and compliance requirements in all customer interactions.

  • Work from home office or our headquarters
  • Travel requirements is 50%
