In this role, you will develop and deliver the Promotional and Marketing Strategy for Asda Express, ensuring a cohesive customer proposition that communicates both value and quality. You will work to create impactful campaigns and initiatives that resonate with customers, driving engagement and loyalty while supporting overall business growth. 

 

You will 

  • Take ownership of shaping and delivering the Express customer proposition, working cross-functionally to define and embed a value-led offer.  

  • Through detailed analysis and promotional autopsies, you’ll understand category roles and space principles 

  • You’ll collaborate with Commercial Managers and suppliers to align activity and maximize opportunities 

  • Leading the end-to-end trade plan, you will manage the quarterly promotional planning process—from strategy through execution—ensuring promotions land right first time and driving process improvements for a streamlined approach.  

  • You’ll also work closely with key stakeholders to translate plans into strong in-store execution
