Export Specialist

Job Description:

  • Preparation of export documents in compliance with the requirements of the destination country.
  • Recording information in the inventory control system.
  • Providing the American and Mexican customs agents with the required information to determine the correct tariff classification.
  • Verify that the established delivery schedules and quantities of goods are met with the Warehouse staff.
  • If the goods meet all the requirements, authorize their export.
  • If the goods do not meet all the requirements, carry out all necessary procedures and/or request missing information.
  • Update the export database.
  • Verify that the Warehouse correctly has the list of materials to be exported.
  • Coordinate the export, ensuring punctuality of the driver, verify that the customs documentation in both Mexico and the United States has been correctly prepared.
  • Provide the Mexican customs agent/representative with the pertinent information for the consolidation of export declarations.
  • Receive and review the documentation from the customs agents.
  • Support with the UPS guide preparation system.

Job Requirements:

Professional, with a degree preferably in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, and Customs.

Desirable to have at least 65% proficiency in English.
