Export Manager – Parts Sales

Job Description:

Role Purpose:

To drive parts sales growth in export markets by managing dealer relationships, ensuring timely order fulfilment, and implementing strategies for Assigned Market Area .The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, improving dealer engagement, and ensuring compliance with export regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute export sales strategies for Assigned markets.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual parts sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and monitor dealer network in assigned regions.

Dealer Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors.
  • Provide product knowledge, pricing, and promotional support to dealers.
  • Monitor dealer performance and implement corrective actions where needed.

Order Processing & Logistics

  • Ensure timely processing of export orders and coordinate with supply chain teams.
  • Manage documentation for international shipments (invoice, packing list, export compliance).
  • Track shipments and resolve logistics issues promptly.

Market Analysis & Pricing

  • Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand.
  • Recommend pricing strategies and promotional campaigns for export markets.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to export regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and dealer communications.

Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
  • Share insights with management for strategic decision-making.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Construction Equipment parts and export processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (logistics, finance, supply chain).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and Incoterms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in parts sales/export management.
  • Experience handling MEA, SEA, and South Asia markets preferred.
