About The Role

Are you looking to build your expertise as a Medical Representative Intern within a global organization that allows you to keep pace with the speed of change? 

As a Medical Representative Intern, you will be responsible for acting as the key link between Haleon and healthcare professionals, in a fast-paced business environment.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to partake in key activities to progress YOUR career.

Scope

  • Focused on all channels of Expert (DHCPs, Pharmacy, Public Institutuions)

  • Subject matter expert in assigned categories Haleon competes, with deep knowledge of HCPs landscape & competition

  • Align with detailing Cycle plan & marketing strategy, in line with global/BU guidelines to win expert recommendations

  • Works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Medical

  • Accountable to deliver on Innovation, Performance and Trust objectives

  • Uses our values and expectations to drive actions and decisions

Key Responsibilities

  • Understands and abides by Haleon policies and procedures, conducts Management Monitoring

  • Uses our values and expectations to drive actions and decisions

  • Locate and record DHCPs, assess clients’ needs and present suitable promoted products.

  • Liaise with and detail to targeted DHCPs /Pharmacists to prescribe/recommend Haleon OC products like Toothpaste, Mouth Washes, Denture appliances and Toothbrushes by utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis.

  • Provide product information and deliver product message.

  • Attend / Perform internal & External meetings (upon direct manager recommendation.), Conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits

  • Align with sales & marketing strategies to ensure delivery of a consistent marketing / brand message. 

  • Ensure adherence to standards of compliance & Governance on SOPs & ABAC

  • Keep trust relationships based on Haleon attributes with clients

  • Responsible for territory analyses, Planning, Problem Solving, Executions, Competitor Feedback & Results

  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback

  • Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development

  • Report through Veeva daily field activities/visits to RDM & take directions from managers to improve performance

  • Follow Haleon Samples & HCP/HCO SOPs always

  • Complete all required online & classroom trainings as part of development process

  • Support team to improve IPSOS data for OC products

Qualifications and Skills

  • Based in Jeddah

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy

  • Maximum 1 year experience

  • Saudi Pharmacy License, completed/in progress
