About the Role
Our client (Pharmaceutical Health) is seeking an Expert Channel Lead to drive prescription channel strategy and execution across Côte d’Ivoire. This pivotal role ensures strong commercial performance, compliance, and operational excellence while fostering innovation in healthcare professional engagement.
As the Expert Channel Lead, you will coach and mentor the expert team, oversee prescription-focused initiatives, manage congress participation, implement digital channels, and deliver measurable results through rigorous planning and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Coach, mentor, and support the expert sales team. Deliver training on product knowledge, compliance, and prescription best practices.
- Prescription Channel Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategies to grow prescription volume and market share. Engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) and institutions through tailored programs.
- Congress Management: Plan and oversee participation in medical congresses to promote Company (Pharmaceutical Health) products.
- Association Enrollment: Build and maintain relationships with professional associations (dentists, GPs, midwives, gynecologists, nurses, physiotherapists).
- Promotional Meetings & Webinars: Organize impactful meetings and webinars to educate and engage HCPs.
- KOL Enrollment: Identify and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support advocacy and promotional strategies.
- Omnichannel Implementation: Deliver marketing initiatives across multiple channels (face-to-face, remote calls, email, WhatsApp, Company Health Partner, Lunch & Learns).
- Digital Tracking & Follow-Up: Monitor engagement metrics and ensure timely follow-up on digital initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring & KPIs: Track prescription volume, channel utilization, sales growth, and HCP engagement. Provide actionable insights and corrective measures.
- Planning & Follow-Up: Develop action plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, institutions, and decision-makers.
- Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure adherence to local regulations and Company (Pharmaceutical Health) compliance standards.
- Lead quarterly team performance discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales or prescription channel management.
- Proven ability to lead and coach teams effectively.
- Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Experience in prescription-focused programs and HCP engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
