The Business Systems Analyst acts as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements across the delivery lifecycle. Leads business analysis efforts, champions stakeholder needs, and ensures solutions align with client objectives and Acxiom capabilities.to help brands make smarter decisions, optimize investment, and maximize return.
What you will do:
- Utilizes expertise to lead project teams to select the approach that best fit requirement initiative needs, and obtains stakeholder and project team buy-in to the selected approach. Able to determine how and when to modify a selected approach as necessary in order to apply an appropriate level of rigor.
- Effectively manages internal and external stakeholder relationships and expectations, keeping them engaged, responsive, and proactive in working toward project goals and objectives.
- Recognizes opportunities beyond the underlying business needs and issues, consulting the stakeholders in exploring these areas of opportunity.
- Establishes metrics and measurements to track, assess, and report on the quality of business analysis work, to help identify opportunities for improvement and possible solutions within the Requirements Management practices and processes.
- Conceptualize a recommended solution, enabling stakeholders to understand the new capabilities, boundaries, dependencies, constraints, and assumptions from a business perspective. Collaborates with the Solution Architect to validate solution also meets the client’s technical needs.
- Understands the business architecture (structure, people, processes, technology) that supports an organization’s strategy, and can assess enterprise business capabilities and gaps that may prevent the organization from achieving desired outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of client and Acxiom business and technical environments
- Expert in Acxiom Delivery Methodology, Requirements Engineering, and Change Management
- Strong understanding of Acxiom tools, organization, and culture
- Working knowledge of Acxiom products, services, and solutions
- Familiarity with industry standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO, CMMI, LEAN)
Experience Required:
Technical:
- High-level knowledge of data quality, database concepts, analysis, and rule/code development
- High-level knowledge of appropriate software for data management, modeling or analysis
- Conduct in-depth data analysis using code language such as SQL, Python, R
- Experience working with Big Data, such as within Snowflake or GCP environments
- Ability to identify ways to improve efficiency and troubleshoot data issues
- Knowledge of third-party data (demographic and modeled data), audience selection, and segmentation
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Capable of leading complex projects
- Ability to communicate across all levels within both internal and external teams
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with both internal stakeholders and external clients
- Proven ability to frame problems, identify insights, and develop recommendations based on performance and trends.
- Deep understanding of the multiple factors influencing campaign performance (data, targeting, timing, creative, execution).
- Capability to provide interpretation of performance, trend analysis, month-over-month performance, and segment analysis
- Highly proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strategic focus.

- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration/project management tools.
