Position Overview :

Boeing Digital Services has an immediate opening for an Experienced Staff Analyst supporting our Technology team and executive leader. The Staff Analyst candidate in this position plays a vital and outsized role as the effective support and business integration arms for the Technology leader and team.

The Staff Analyst role is a blend of both administrative and strategic efforts – both of which are required to keep the organization and team running at max effectiveness. In this role, you get to be in unique position effectuating that effectiveness for a 150+ global team.

This position will project manage multiple initiatives, track budgets, schedules and performance metrics. This position provides periodic updates to Boeing executive management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents.

This position will be located in Bengaluru, India.

Position Responsibilities:

Operating Rhythm + Management System Effectiveness

  • Advise and partner with executive leadership to define and implement a robust organizational management system and operating rhythm. Continually assess and improve structure as organizational or business needs evolve.
  • Support project-based work as necessary by developing the ConOps and schedule. Effectuate project performance by tracking execution and communicating regular status to stakeholders.
  • Develop and continuously optimize overall meeting architecture. Work with leadership to determine purpose and value add for meeting structure and content.
  • Develop and coordinate executive-level briefings utilizing appropriate technologies.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office software (SharePoint, PowerBI, Teams, Excel, and server administration) to optimize information management and execution.
  • Creates organizational processes and templates that sets consistent direction and action ‘down and across’ the team. Leverage software (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, or internal Boeing tools) to implement processes in a standard and effective fashion.

Business Integration

  • Support organizational leaders in the development and implementation of plans and objectives (e.g. long-range plans, organizational goals) that meet requirements and performance with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather complex data by researching and integrating from multiple sources to compile and create distinct content for executive/management reviews which effectuate performance.
  • Coordinate and perform a variety of business support services or tasks as the primary organization representative. Able to do so under quick timelines.
  • Provide support or own special projects as needed which vary in size, scope, duration.
  • Participate in and support the development, planning and execution for organizational engagement initiatives such as employee survey action planning; all-team meetings; award programs; employee recognition; safety activities; tours; open houses, etc.

Driving Organizational Performance & Analytics

  • Partner with business leaders to collate staffing strategy across the organization and monitor performance-to-plan.
  • Design and build dashboards to report, monitor, and extract insights on organizational performance. This encompasses design, defining requirements, and working with business intelligence teams as necessary to build out dashboard suite.
  • Own and maintain organization-level dashboards and KPI’s such as headcount, attrition, productivity metrics, project health, budget utilization, demand vs. capacity, etc.
  • Leverage analytics tools (PowerPivot, PowerBI, Tableau) to enable data visualization necessary for interpreting metrics and reporting.

Meeting Planning, Execution and Effectiveness

  • Facilitate and run team meetings (both in-person and virtually) for a global audience.
  • Plans and execute all logistics for internal/external events inclusive of all-team meetings, workshops, conferences, leadership events and customer meetings.

Administrative Support

  • Proactively manages Outlook calendars and virtual resource tools to support appointments, meetings, events, and business travel.
  • Coordinates and reconciles schedule conflicts with multiple executives, managers, customers, partners and suppliers.
  • Coordinates and makes domestic and international business travel arrangements and monitors on-going logistics for all designated travelers.
  • Coordinates with management and internal subject matter experts to complete travel visa requirements.

This position is designated to be fully onsite - meaning the final candidate will be working in the office 5 days a week during core business hours. (Flexibility granted on an ad hoc basis to support global meetings outside of core business hours). The final candidate must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface with Boeing personnel around the world (specifically those in North America). This position will require travel internationally about 10% of the time.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required. Related fields including business administration, information management and/or other relevant areas.
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English and have excellent communication style.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (M365) Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience in defining requirements, designing, and building out analytics dashboards (ex: PowerPivot, PowerBI, or Tableau)
  • Analytical Experience inclusive of organizing & analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing recommendations.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings or workshops which vary in size (small to 50+ person meetings).
  • Experience in building presentation decks that include data and visually appealing graphics.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, leading, and executing on projects.
  • Experience in supporting an executive-level business partner.
  • Experience in defining and managing an organizational operating rhythm

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to clearly communicate at the Senior Executive Level.
  • Experience managing executive business travel and associated expenses.
  • Prior experience using SAP Concur as business travel expense platform.
  • Prior experience working in large, complex, and global companies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both down and out.
  • Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement mindset.
  • Self-starter, accountable, and strong bias for action.
  • Ability to take problems, create solutions, and execute to deliver customer value.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience is typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
