The Boeing CompanyBoeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Quality is seeking an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist to support Northwest Flight Test operations based in Seattle, Washington. BT&E Quality supports BCA, BDS and BGS test programs under the PC700 Production and BACR668L Repair Station certificates, facilitate root cause identification, help develop and implement corrective actions as well as assist with daily operation requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as the Quality process SME for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and Tool Control
Member of the BT&E FOD Council
Assist with Field and Stall FOD reduction and Time and Temperature (TATs) control also Perform Process Assessments in designated areas utilizing the Enterprise Process Evaluation System (EPES)
Monitors and maintains access for the BT&E Flight Test portion of the Manufacturing Visibility Tool (MVT)
Monitors and help remind 1st line and Senior leadership of their Daily 1st Level and Weekly 2nd level FOD walks as well as the Monthly Tool Container Sweeps and Lost Tools
Ensure all Tool Containers that are in use by FTM are reviewed at least monthly
Creates visible Metrics gathered and shares the data with senior Flight Test Staff at their monthly meetings
SMS Seattle Flight Test Temporary Stamp Custodian and Stamp SME
Facilitates and leads Root Cause Corrective Action activities
Supports the Drug Free workplace and flight test workforce team
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
3+ years of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
3+ years of experience working with industry standards and regulations such as AS9100, Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 21, 25 and 91, FAA Order 8100.15, and FAA Order 8110.4C
Excellent knowledge of the Boeing technical systems, policies and procedures
Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Working knowledge and experience with website development and design
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Exceptional root cause analysis skills
Airframe & Powerplant License
2+ years of Regulatory Compliance experience
2+ years of experience in data analysis and audits
