Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Programmer Analyst to join our Technical Publications Team located in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will focus on supporting the BGS business organization.

A successful candidate will design, program, test, and provide implementation and documentation of computing applications used to produce and deliver technical publications as well as modifying and upgrading these applications to maintain functionality and improve performance. Create and solve complex SGML, S1000D, HTML, Perl, and JavaScript problems. Create, and maintain authoring and publishing software used in the production of technical publications.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain governance and compliance for websites, servers, and tools
  • Create and solve complex SGML, S1000D, HTML, Perl, and JavaScript problems
  • Create, and maintain authoring and publishing software used in the production of technical publications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with SGML/XML Publishing and Software
  • 5 years of experience with military technical orders and/or commercial maintenance manuals
  • 5 years of experience with technical data authoring and publishing software
  • Experience and training using the following programming languages: XSL/XSLT, Perl, C#, visual J++, CSS
  • Experience solving complex problems in a variety of software platforms
  • Experience with the following databases: Access, Oracle, SQL Server, SQL Query

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • XML Professional Publisher (XPP) - Style development, Administration, and Differencing (Loose Leaf) setup
  • Extensive XML/SGML/S1000D tagging experience
  • Contenta - Administration, implementation through VMWare
  • Experience with the following publication specifications: S1000D and MIL-STD

Summary pay range: $97,750 - $132,250
