Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced or Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Ridley Park, PA.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced & Senior Data Scientists.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads cross-functional teams to determine, define and deploy complex predictive/prescriptive analytic solutions to meet business objectives.

• Evaluates business objectives and determines stakeholder needs.

• Train and Develop Team/ Promote Teamwork

• Explain the business (Merge Data/Technical concepts with Business concepts)

• Coach on Analysis/ Summary/Decision Making & Next Steps

• Manage Projects/Tasks Assigned

• Communicate Challenges

• Present to Leadership and Executive

• Follow up (Call / Don’t use email for Problem Solving)

• Document/ Meeting Minutes/ Actions (Owners)/ Next Steps

• Challenge Ideas/ Existing Concepts & Processes

• Generate demand forecasts, inventory plans and track functional performance metrics

• Develop modeling solutions that are structured to support contract performance targets

• Provide recommendations & strategies to minimize shortages/excess supply

• Contribute to the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) process

• Perform data analysis to develop root cause / corrective action for data quality improvements

• Interpret customer requirements and develop modeling approaches to solve complex supply chain problems

• Assist/Lead proposal efforts

• Discovers new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking

• Tries different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities

• Performs a range of complex technical and/or professional activities

• Investigates, defines, and resolves complex issues using a methodical approach to issue definition and resolution

• Understands the relationship between own specialism and wider customer/organizational requirements

• Determine appropriate forecast methodologies to develop cost effective fleet sustainment solutions

• Present & justify model results and recommendations to supply chain leadership, program managers, customers, internal/external auditors and peers

• Estimate strategic resource requirements for product life-cycle support

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience with government proposals

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Leadership experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher

• Analytical & Problem Solving Skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range (Experienced): $137,700.00 - $186,300.00

Summary pay range (Senior): $173,400.00 - $234,600.00
