Experienced Electrical Engineer for Seat Integration (M/F/D)

In this role you will:
- Work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for passenger seats.
- Review data from our suppliers for integration approval of seats into the airframe from electrical point of view, including the review of seat envelope drawings and equipment qualification data.
- Analyze, define, and generate documentation for the design and certification of aircraft seating products, e.g. wiring diagrams, routing installation and harness fabrication drawings, test plans and reports, System Safety, Equipment Qualification, and EWIS documents.
- Collaborate closely with Office of Airworthiness and regulatory authorities to ensure the aircraft cabin is delivered in the correct condition and quality.
- Supervises supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

What you bring to the table:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering) or higher degree in engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace industry, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience
Additionally preferred skills:
- Experience: You have 5+ years of experience within a Design or Production Organization (EASA or FAA approved). Current or recent appointment as a Design Review or Verification Engineer (DVE/DRE) with terms of approval relevant to the electrical discipline is preferable.
- Knowledge: You can demonstrate experience with aircraft interior modification programs especially on the electrical part of seat integration, with a high level of attention to detail. You have knowledge on Fundamental Avionics, RTCA DO-160, RTCA DO-178C, RTCA DO-254-and System Safety Assessment.
- Collaboration: You have 5+ years of experience in leading complex projects (development and execution of schedule milestones, financial assessments, resource assessments, risk and/or issues management, etc.) including influencing team members and stakeholders (suppliers, customers, solution providers) involved and are willing to help develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff.
- Tools: You can demonstrate expertise with navigating OEM data systems for specifications and standards and have worked with our most important tools: Catia V5 / V6, ENOVIA, IVT, AutoCAD.
- Personality: You are a principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct. Inclusive and collaborative by nature, you communicate transparently, respect diverse perspectives and take ownership to drive results the right way.
- Flexibility: You are comfortable with a variable work statement. Our Stakeholders are located around the globe; this can require you to be flexible to support meetings to cover different time zones.
