The Boeing CompanyBoeing’s Global Real Estate, Planning, and Strategy (GREPS) Operational Excellence organization is currently looking for an Experienced Business Intelligence and Data Analyst to join our Portfolio Administration team. This is a virtual opportunity.
This role collaborates closely with our third-party providers to support the implementation, ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of internal Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics dashboards and reports that are critical to GREPS operations. Leveraging your expertise in business intelligence and data analytics, you will provide actionable insights, develop an inventory of analytics and insights, and identify gaps in critical data to enhance reporting capabilities. Additionally, you will support the data team by creating data quality dashboards and engaging in various BI and analytics activities aligned with our technology transformation roadmap.
Beyond BI and Analytics support, this position will also involve maintaining existing homegrown systems and applications, including SharePoint and Tableau, with the understanding that this scope will diminish as we transition to industry-standard applications. Furthermore, you will assist in the deployment of new applications and systems as required. As part of Enterprise Services, you will join a team of over 2,500 employees dedicated to enabling the production of Boeing’s products. Enterprise Services plays a vital role in providing strategic partnership and support to all Boeing business units through multiple service towers, thereby creating significant impact and value across the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Implement, maintain and troubleshoot GREPS internal systems including PAT, Wrike, SharePoint, and custom platforms
Develop, manage and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making and data quality improvement efforts
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvements
Find correlations between multiple disparate and complex data sets in various data platforms and represent their significance to the larger organization in simpler terms through presentations and stories
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Support the Data Governance Council by monitoring data quality, enforcing data policies, and ensuring compliance with governance standards
Prepare technical documentation and provide training materials to support system adoption and data governance
Provide behind-the-scenes technical support with occasional direct interaction with business users and leadership
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying system enhancements and process optimizations
Work with the Data Management Office and GREPS leadership team to help manage and implement data solutions as well as support data projects
Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and collaborate with the team to explore and apply AI-driven solutions that enhance business intelligence and operational excellence
Occasional travel may be required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, or related field
3+ years of experience with Power BI Reporting
Analytical, communication and problem solving skills
Experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix team
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project management environments, including backlog sizing and sprint planning
Experience supporting operational excellence or real estate portfolio management teams
Experience with data governance frameworks and enforcement practices
Experience with project management methodologies
Experience in a hybrid work environment and supporting remote teams
Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos)
Experience with SQL and data quality dashboards/analytics preferred
Experience with managing and troubleshooting enterprise systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $80,750 - $125,350
