Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate, self-driven Videographer, Editor & Creator to join the AirAsia MOVE Brand Content Team. This role focuses on crafting impactful brand-led video content, short-form and trend-driven creative, tactical advertising assets, and creating AI-powered ads using modern AI platforms blending traditional production workflows with intelligent tools to deliver high-performing, viral-ready content across multiple channels.

Deliver content end-to-end, from ideation and production to final delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role requires an independent, trustworthy, and solutions-driven creator with strong initiative who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We don’t just want a technical editor; we want a creative instigator who brings wild, 'out-of-the-box' ideas to the table and has the initiative to turn them into reality before the trend fades.

Key Responsibilities

Social & Tactical Video Ads Conceptualize, shoot, and edit short form social ads for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube (short and long form)

  • Produce a variety of content including UGC-style videos, travel clips, explainers, promotions, and event coverage.

  • Edit and optimize tactical ads using AI-powered editing platforms to improve turnaround time and performance.

  • Ensure all content meets brand tone, platform specifications, and campaign objectives.

  • Optimize hooks, pacing, captions, and CTAs for engagement and conversion.

  • Trend Piracy & Creative Risk-Taking: Proactively pitch 'wild' content concepts that push brand boundaries, experimenting with humor, unconventional edits, and high-risk/high-reward ideas to capture viral attention.

  • Self-Guided Execution: Act as a one-person powerhouse who identifies content opportunities during shoots or events without needing constant direction.


Videography & Editing

  • Execute run-and-gun shoots independently, including camera operation, B-roll capture, and lighting/audio setup.

  • Support structured shoots by following shot lists, framing guidelines, and brand aesthetics.

  • Edit videos with strong storytelling using music, sound effects, text animation, transitions, and motion elements.

  • Deliver platform-ready assets efficiently across multiple formats.

Content & Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain content libraries, raw footage, and project files.

  • Coordinate with designers, marketers, and senior editors on assets, feedback, and revisions.

  • Stay current with social trends, AI tools, editing styles, and platform best practices to keep content relevant and competitive.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in video editing. Fresh graduates with proven hands-on experience and a strong portfolio of short-form or branded video content are encouraged to apply.

  • Proficient in CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Adobe Firefly, ElevenLabs, Veo 3.1 and relevant AI editing tools.

  • Experience or strong interest in AI-based video editing platforms.

  • Solid understanding of social-first storytelling, pacing, audio sync, transitions, captions, and hooks.

  • Basic camera, lighting, and audio operation skills.

  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

  • Independent, proactive, and dependable with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable being the face of the brand and guiding others to capture the “MOVE” Gen-Z vibe.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in motion graphics, sound design, or directing live shoots.

  • Familiarity with travel, lifestyle, or youth-focused content.

  • Experience coordinating freelancers or small creative teams.
