[What the role is]
We are looking for a service-minded and organised Training Operations Officer to be part of the Centre for Environmental Training (CET)/Singapore Environment Institute (SEI) which is responsible for implementing a variety of training programmes to develop the NEA workforce. In this role, you will handle various training administration duties as well as data analytics reporting on staff training.
[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible to assist with the following:
- Partner and work closely with NEA departments, training providers and various stakeholders to plan, manage, co-ordinate and facilitate training operations for the scheduling/conduct of training programmes and assessments in accordance with learning plans.
- Provide admin and training support for training programmes, including seeking budget approval, course registration, and processing invoice payment etc.
- Prepare billing of customers for training services rendered e.g. ITE and other financial related matters.
- Design and deploy data collection processes and tools and synthesize outcomes of data analyses to create insightful reports.
- Compile and maintain training data for progress reporting.
- Manage the conduct of training modules and assessment sessions for officers to be authorised to carry out enforcement work.
- Follow up on enquiries/requests received from internal/external customers, including requests for testimonials/exam certificates.
- Participate and contribute in cross-departmental or divisional assignments and projects as and when required.
- Undertake other duties/roles as assigned by the supervisor.
[What we are looking for]
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
- At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in training administration roles.
- Proficient in using tools such as Microsoft Excel and RPA for data entry automation, and Qlik to support data reporting and analytics would be an advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities, timeline, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Meticulous and passion for data accuracy and completeness.
- Positive attitude, ability to work independently and in teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Successful candidate may be required to travel to various NEA office locations for roadshows and/or meetings.
